I founded the Raleigh Cat Clinic in 1987 because I felt there was a need for a veterinary clinic for cats so they could get special attention without dogs around to upset them. At that time, there were only approximately 10-15 cat clinics in the US located only in large cities like Chicago and none in NC. It was thought that a cat clinic could not survive in a city like Raleigh. I knew the cat lovers in Raleigh and the surrounding areas were devoted to their cats and would welcome a cat clinic so I jumped at the chance to make my dream come true
