We are a veterinary practice serving the Bronx, New York including Riverdale, Kingsbridge, and all of the surrounding communities. Doctors Derek Fried, Jennifer Emmerich and Jennifer Tucker and offer expert care for all species of companion animals, including dogs, cats, avian, exotics, and pocket pets
After working for a group of veterinarians in Brooklyn for four years, Dr. Fried convinced his partners to help him start The Riverdale Veterinary Group in 1999. It was always Derek's vision to open up a small animal clinic in his home town of Riverdale. RVG has grown into a full service veterinary hospital, open seven days a week, employing about fifteen people
Mission — At the Riverdale Veterinary Group, our mission is to offer the finest veterinary care possible, while being compassionate and understanding of all the patients that come through our door. Veterinary clinics should be staffed only by animal-lovers. At our practice we insist that everyone treats the animals the way they would treat their own pet
