Rhinebeck Equine is a full-service equine practice located in the heart of the beautiful Hudson River Valley two hours north of New York City. Since our founding in the 1940’s by Dr. Kenneth Gumaer we have steadily grown and integrated our ambulatory on-the-farm and hospital haul-in operations into a comprehensive equine care center serving the Northeastern United States. Today Rhinebeck Equine’s expanded haul-in hospital is staffed by two board-certified equine surgeons, two internal medicine specialists, and a large team of interns, veterinary technicians, and support staff. Our fully-equipped ambulatory veterinarians provide on-the-farm care to equine patients in a 50-mile radius surrounding our hospital in Rhinebeck, NY and collaborates with the hospital team to bring hospital expertise out into the field
