Alternatives to traditional medicine for pets have grown in the past decade as more and more pet owners have realized the positive effects of treatments like Acupuncture, have on their own lives. Throughout her 15 years as a veterinarian, Dr. Melanie has developed a passion for improving the quality of life for senior pets and those with other chronic issues. This passion led her to pursue education in integrative medicine and alternative treatments. After seeing how acupuncture can help these patients with mobility, pain and chronic disease, she decided to narrow her focus to integrative medicine
