Since the 1960s, McGee Street Animal Hospital has been a cozy corner of comfort and care for pets and their people in Norman, OK. We've been here through the shag carpet era, the rise of floppy-eared family dogs, and more than a few generations of loyal clients who've trusted us with everything from puppy shots to end-of-life goodbyes. Under the leadership of Dr. Greg Emmert since 2001, we've grown with the times—expanding our space, upgrading our tech, and deepening our relationships with the families we serve. From the beginning, McGee Street Animal Hospital was built on a foundation of trust, kindness, and strong community roots. When Dr. Emmert took the reins in 2001, he brought a vision that blended old-school relationship-based care with modern veterinary medicine. Over time, our hospital has grown to nearly four times its original size, allowing us to offer a broader range of services while still feeling like your neighborhood vet down the street.
