Overview

Countryside Veterinary Service is a full-service animal hospital and welcomes pets of all types in need of medical, surgical, and dental care

Dr. Tammy Eichmann graduated from Tuft’s Veterinary program in 1993 and started practicing immediately upon graduation. She started a small animal practice at her home in Days Creek and five years later moved the practice to its current location in historic Canyonville. In 2019, Dr. Tammy decided to open a second practice in Myrtle Creek in order to serve the growing demand for veterinary care in Douglas county

What reviewers say

83% Positive sentiment
based on 324 reviews

The veterinary practice is widely appreciated for its compassionate and knowledgeable care, especially during end-of-life decisions and routine wellness visits. Many clients highlight the gentle demeanor of the veterinarians and staff when handling anxious pets and various animal species, including exotics. However, scheduling appointments can require long lead times, and front desk communication and phone interactions occasionally draw heavy criticism. Pricing concerns, unexpected administrative fees, and occasional difficulties with emergency availability are also noted by visitors.
