Overview

Countryside Veterinary Service is a full-service animal hospital and welcomes pets of all types in need of medical, surgical, and dental care. Dr. Tammy Eichmann, our practice owner and Chief of Medicine, has over 27 years experience as a veterinarian. We have 5 licensed veterinarians serving locations in Myrtle Creek and Canyonville, with clients and patients coming from all over Douglas county and beyond. We see patients 6 days a week, ranging from the tiniest bird to a 1200 lb horse! In addition to our two locations, Countryside Veterinary Service offers out-call and ambulatory services to your home or ranch for large and small animals

Dr. Tammy Eichmann graduated from Tuft’s Veterinary program in 1993 and started practicing immediately upon graduation. She started a small animal practice at her home in Days Creek and five years later moved the practice to its current location in historic Canyonville. Moving the hospital to Canyonville allowed Dr. Tammy to expand her services and provide a cutting edge veterinary hospital for her clients and patients. In 2019, Dr. Tammy decided to open a second practice in Myrtle Creek in order to serve the growing demand for veterinary care in Douglas county

Mission — Our Mission Statement: At Countryside Veterinary Service, we are committed to providing compassionate care, comfort, and superior quality veterinary medicine for our patients. We strive to nurture the human-animal bond and help pets live healthier, longer lives. We Pledge to provide excellent service to our clients and their pets and we promise to treat them with honesty, respect, and dignity
