Overview

Durham Valley Vets is a full service veterinary clinic serving Upper Bucks County PA, and surrounding communities. We strive to provide compassionate care for your companion’s health from early life through adulthood, ensuring a long fulfilling life

In 1997, Dr. David Peterson realized his dream and opened Durham Valley Vets. The building at 8398 Easton Rd, Ottsville formerly housed a bicycle shop and Dr. Peterson worked in the evenings to frame and build rooms for exams, surgery, a cattery and a kennel area. Once the clinic was ready, he continued working at Fort Dodge Animal Health and saw appointments in the evenings until he acquired a large enough client base to open full time. Over time, the practice grew, equipment was added and upgraded and associates were hired. In January of 2023, after 26 years of ownership, Dr. Peterson sold the practice to Dr. Minjeong Gwon and Dr. Ryan Epple and retired that April. Although the practice gained new ownership, much of the staff remains the same. Drs. Gwon and Epple have been working with the original staff to add valuable upgrades to our services while continuing to offer affordable vet care to the surrounding community

Mission — At Durham Valley Vets, we are dedicated to providing high quality medical care to our valued clients and their pets. Our goal is to treat our clients as we would treat our friends and families, and to treat our clients' pets as though they were our own. Because our clients and their companions are the heart of our practice and the reason we are here, we strive to treat them with respect, dignity and compassion. It is our hope that clients will find our staff helpful, informative and approachable if they have questions about the health and care of their furry family members. Being of service to our clients and patients is the definition of our purpose and the mission of our practice. Our goal is to achieve the highest level of satisfaction to our clients, patients and the community we service
