Overview
Alternative Healing for Your Pets
I graduated from veterinary school at Michigan State University in 1981, moving to Pennsylvania for my first job. I worked at several different practices in the Lehigh Valley until 1987 when I opened my own business, Meadowbrook Animal Hospital. I started with no clients and built the practice into a 2 doctor traditional full-service veterinary hospital. My own health issues caused me to cut back and I started to explore alternative modalities for myself with chiropractic care being first. I had answers to my issues and felt so much better that I realized I needed to bring on chiropractic care for my dog and cat patients. As my health journey took me to acupuncture, Bach Flower, and nutrition I continued to add these modalities for my pet patients. Laser therapy was added for animals before I actually applied it to my own chronic injuries! In 2016, I changed the name to Meadowbrook Animal Healing and started to phase out traditional veterinary medicine practice
