Dr. Gussack was a veterinary assistant for 12 years before attending the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. She graduated in 2002 and moved back to Chattanooga with her husband, Paul, and various dogs and cats. She worked at South Rhea Animal Hospital and Middle Valley Animal Hospital before starting Vet2Go Housecalls in 2011
