Dr. Belbey has been in business since June of 1996 and is now hitting the road to bring the vet to your pet! Formerly James River Animal Hospital in Scottsville, VA. Dr. Belbey founded James River Animal Hospital in Scottsville in 1996. He practiced high quality small animal medicine in his Scottsville hospital for 23 years. In June, 2019 he embarked on a new vocation as a house call veterinarian, establishing James River Animal Housecalls

Mission — We understand the special role your pet plays in your family and are dedicated to becoming your partner in your pet's health care. We treat your pet as we would our own. Our goal is to practice the highest quality medicine and surgery with compassion and an emphasis on client education. Our entire healthcare team is committed to providing personal attention to the unique concerns of each individual pet owner
