Dr. Homer S. "Buddy" Bruce graduated from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in June 1987. Upon graduation, he worked for Dr. Marsha Cashwell in Phenix City while he built his veterinary hospital in Opelika. He was raised in Opelika, where his grandfather and others built the first human hospital
