Thornton Animal Hospital was founded over twenty-five years ago by Dr. Bruce F. Thornton and was originally located on Geneva Street in Opelika. Dr. James F. Moore IV purchased the practice in 2008 and continues to grow the hospital while working side-by-side with Dr. Thornton in the successful practice that 'Doc worked many years to build.'
