It was never really a thought until it became the only thing we could think about! The last few years, we found ourselves at a crossroads. Dissatisfied with the corporatization of our beloved profession, we knew something needed to change as we still had SO much left to give and were not yet ready to hang up our stethoscopes! Concurrently, we could not ignore the phenomenal growth of our community, almost quite literally in our back yard. We knew the need was desperately there, it took us a few moments to convince ourselves we were the EXACT team to fulfill that void. Thus, apropos as it was Leap Day, we sat down one morning over our coffee, agreed on a name, formed our LLC, and began to make some phone calls. The past year has been a phenomenal whirlwind, filled with fantastic finds and collaborations that have continued to propel us farther than we could have ever hoped or dreamed! We have met SO many wonderful people who have dedicated themselves to and are equally excited about our vision! Here we are, from just the START of a concept: a successful mobile veterinary service and the completion of our BEAUTIFUL, state-of-the-art, brick and mortar hospital in the Ledge Rock that is NOW OPEN!!! Beyond anything we could have fathomed, your enthusiastic, welcoming response has been INCREDIBLE! Thank you to EVERYONE who has made, and continues to make, this dream happen! Utilizing superior evidence-based medicine in conjunction with experience, common sense and ingenuity, we are able to offer the gold-standard in medicine yet approach each case based on the INDIVIDUAL with multiple levels of pragmatic, practical and compassionate care.
