Dr. Dietrich Steinberg started West County Animal Clinic in November of 1973. Dr. Stacey Bender grew up in Manchester, Missouri, and worked as a veterinary assistant at West County Animal Clinic in late high school and during the summers while in college. After graduating in 2005, she moved to Florida to work at an equine/small animal hospital for 2 years, then worked at a small animal/exotic clinic in Illinois for the next 5 years. In April 2012, Dr. Bender joined the staff of West County Animal Clinic as a veterinarian and now owns the clinic
