- Specialty / Referral HospitalA referral center staffed by board-certified specialists for advanced or complex cases.
- General PracticeA primary-care veterinary clinic providing routine and preventive care.
- PIMS (Practice Information Management System)The clinic's core software system for records, scheduling, and billing.
- AAHA AccreditationVoluntary accreditation from the American Animal Hospital Association against ~900 quality standards.
- Fear Free CertificationA certification program for low-stress, low-fear handling of animals during veterinary visits.
- Ultimate OwnerThe top-level entity that ultimately controls a practice, looking past intermediate holding companies.
